The Oakridge Community Garden is excited to kick off a new garden season this spring! Interest in the gardens has never been higher, with the majority of members returning for the 2025 season and 13 residents on the waitlist for beds. As such, all beds have been filled at this time. Be sure to add your name to the waitlist if you’re interested in joining in the future!
The Oakridge Community Garden has plans to partner with Youth Central again this year, and are currently exploring opportunities for the development of new raised beds. Other garden projects this spring include soil testing, bed maintenance, purchasing of new tools and compost, and a kick-off meeting with garden members in late April.
Keep your eye out for more opportunities to get involved with the Oakridge Community Gardens this summer!
