Should We Bring A Present?

The Oakridge Community Centre is hitting a major milestone — 55 years of building community, creating memories, and keeping things neighbourly. To celebrate our fabulous five-five, we’re giving residents a reason (or five!) to fall in love with the community centre all over again.

We’ve packed this celebration with fives: five exclusive member perks, available at no extra cost, if you purchase your resident membership before the end of the fifth month of 2025. (That’s May — just in case your calendar and caffeine haven’t synced yet.)

It’s our playful way of saying thanks for being part of Oakridge — whether you’ve been here since day one or just moved in last week. These special add-ons are our birthday gift to you, designed to help you explore everything the community centre has to offer without spending a cent more.

But — and this is important — these extras are only available to members who live within the official boundaries of Oakridge…sorry friends next door.

So if you’re an Oakridge resident and haven’t picked up your membership yet, this is your sign. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the celebration, soak up some extra perks, and raise a metaphorical glass to 55 years of community awesomeness.

Because really — when was the last time turning 55 sounded this fun?

Complimentary Addons Available To Resident Members:

Resident members have their choice of participating in open play sessions for either pickleball or tennis at no additional cost.

Only one racquet sport may be selected per membership.  If you play both pickleball and tennis you will need an additional racquet club membership for the sport not selected.  If one member of your household plays tennis and one plays pickleball you will need an additional racquet membership for the sport not selected.

Open play racquet sports are scheduled on both the weekdays and weekends to accomodate working and non working members.

Open play tennis is available 9:00am – 12:00pm on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Open play pickleball is available 9:00am – 12:00pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

You will receive a link to provide your choice after you pay for your membership and your addons will be added to your account during regular business hours.

Resident Members will receive a 10% discount on Holiday Adventures Summer Camp registration, making it even more affordable for families this summer.

Holiday Adventures Camps are themed, with a different focus each week throughout July and August, offering a variety of exciting experiences that keep children engaged, learning, and having fun all summer long.

Please note that tennis and pickleball camps are excluded from this discount.

To access the discount, members must purchase their membership and request the Holiday Adventures Add-On before registering for camp. Once your membership has been updated with the add-on, you will receive a notification confirming that the discount is active on your account. At that point, you may proceed with registering your child for eligible camps and enjoy the savings.
