Oakridge Community Centre and the Osten & Victor Alberta Tennis Centre (ATC) are partnering this summer to offer an exciting tennis and multi-sport camp at Oakridge Community Centre.

Designed for kids at beginner and intermediate levels, this camp blends tactical and technical instruction in a fun, group setting. Campers will learn essential tennis skills, including how to Serve, Rally, and Score, all while enjoying a fun environment.

The camp also features scheduled snack breaks and dedicated time for kids to engage in a variety of other sports such ultimate frisbee. These activities promote physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction, all in a coach-supervised environment.

Join ATC tennis professionals, who are passionate about helping each camper improve their skills while having a great time. Whether your child is new to the game, looking to refine their abilities, or simply wants to enjoy plenty of tennis, they will have a great time at our tennis summer camp.

It is held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Oakridge Community Centre Mondays to Thursdays.

Friday is reserved as a rain date just in case.

Join us for another exciting season of the Holiday Adventures Program—a summer camp experience like no other! Summer 2025 is bursting with imagination, exploration, and non-stop fun. Each week features a unique theme packed with hands-on activities, creative projects, and thrilling field trips, all designed to spark curiosity and help kids make unforgettable memories.

Campers will journey through the Wild Wild West, dive into books and imagination during Imagination Vacation, and blast off to faraway galaxies in Space Invaders. Time-travel adventures await in Travel in Time, while Hands-On Fun encourages kids to let their creativity soar. Budding wizards will be enchanted by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and our campers will shine in Setting the Stage, a week full of performance and flair. Finally, we’ll wrap up the summer with our Last Hurrah, a celebration of all the laughter and learning from the weeks before.

Get ready to serve, rally, and smash this summer! The Oakridge Pickleball Youth Camps are designed for teens aged 13 to 18 who want to learn and develop their skills in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Led by a certified Pickleball instructor with youth training experience, each 4-day camp focuses on building fundamentals, strategy, and game play through hands-on instruction and interactive activities.

Each session is limited to 8 participants, ensuring personalized attention and quality coaching. All equipment (paddles, balls, and nets) is provided. Participants should bring water, athletic shoes, and be ready for action!

The Summer Preschool Academy at Oakridge offers a fun and engaging early learning experience for children aged 3 and up (must be 3 by June 30, 2025). Running Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this summer program is designed to support social development, early literacy, creativity, and play-based learning in a nurturing environment.

Parents can register their child for one, two, or three weeks per month, depending on their summer schedule. Tuition fees are $300 for three weeks, $200 for two weeks, and $100 for one week, with a $25 non-refundable registration fee. Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Families may cancel up to seven days before the start of a session for a full tuition refund (excluding the registration fee). In the event of class cancellation by the Academy, both tuition and registration fees will be refunded.

Safety and communication are key components of the Academy. Each child’s registration includes emergency contacts, pickup authorizations, and medical information. Outdoor play and local community walks are part of the summer curriculum, and parents are required to provide consent for participation. Photos may be shared privately with families via the Lillio App.

The Academy uses the Lillio App for secure and convenient fee payment. Parents must activate their account and input banking information once registration is confirmed. Missed days due to illness or vacation are non-refundable, and a $40 fee applies to NSF payments.

This program offers a wonderful opportunity for preschoolers to learn, play, and grow in a safe, structured, and joyful setting over the summer months.
